3. Our Response Process
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:
- Acknowledge receipt of the notice within 48 hours
- Review the claim and verify the information provided
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material promptly
- Notify the content provider, if applicable, of the removal
4. Counter-Notification
If you believe that material was removed or access was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification containing:
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
- Your physical or electronic signature
5. Repeat Infringers
NovelPlus maintains a policy of terminating access for users who are repeat copyright infringers in appropriate circumstances.
6. Good Faith
Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be subject to liability. Please ensure your claim is made in good faith before submitting a notice.
