Child of the Abyss
When a newborn was found crying at the edge of the Abyssal Rift — the bottomless wound in the earth that spawned monsters — the world didn't know what to make of him. Raised in an orphanage, Cael Noctis grew up strange. Shadows moved when he was angry. Darkness gathered when he was afraid. And on his eighteenth birthday, the Abyss called him home. A voice from the deepest pit whispered the truth: Cael is not human. He is the Abyss's only child, born from pure darkness, placed among humans as a seed. Now the seed has sprouted, and Cael must choose — descend into the Abyss and become the monster humanity fears, or remain above and prove that even a child of darkness can choose the light. But the Abyss is patient, and it always reclaims what it birthed. The world is grim, morally complex, and unforgiving. Power comes at a cost, and the line between hero and villain blurs with every chapter. This is fantasy with teeth — expect mature themes, difficult choices, and consequences that linger.
