Marcus Webb was a game designer who died in a car crash. He woke up as a glowing crystal in a cave—a Dungeon Core, destined to spawn monsters and kill adventurers. But Marcus isn't like other cores. He remembers being human. He can think, plan, feel guilty about the people his traps kill.
